Pets & Pet Battles
Pets come from eligible combat encounters, skills, bosses, and special activities. Each pet’s reference page identifies its public source; there is no universal capture rate.
An active pet can provide a defined bonus. Train and select pets around your goal, but compare the actual bonus rather than assuming rarity is always best.
Pet battles
Battles are turn-based. Moves have Melee, Ranged, or Magic typing and interact through a combat triangle. Build a legal move set, account for likely types, and choose before the deadline; timed-out turns can be played automatically.
Player-versus-player battles can award the winner the configured pool and battle progression. Practice against available non-player opposition before risking a stake.
- Continue normal progression instead of camping an unsuitable encounter solely for a pet.
- Train a useful roster before spreading resources across every capture.
- Keep different move types available.
- Treat listed chances as snapshot values in the Pets reference.
